His legal practice focuses on representing plaintiffs in medical malpractice and personal injury cases. Jed recently was admitted into the Hawaii Bar Association, and joined the Hawaii law firm of Damon Key Leong Kupchak Hastert, A Law Corporation as “of Counsel”.

As a Miami native, Jed Kurzban has a unique perspective. His family has been practicing law in the Miami area for a quarter of a century, so Mr. Kurzban quickly learned the value of perseverance and the meaning of “dedication” to clients and their interests. Mr. Kurzban has served as vice-chair of the Dade County Bar Association Trial Section (in 2001), and he also has served on the Board of Directors for the Florida Justice Association (formerly the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers) in 2004. He is a member of the Dade County Bar, the Florida Bar, the American Association for Justice, the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, the American Bar Association, and the American Constitution Society. He is married to Lorna Kurzban and is the proud father of two children, Elspeth and Ailsa.
