Samira Arabnia is an attorney at the Miami office of Kurzban, Kurzban, Weinger, Tetzeli & Pratt. She earned her J.D. in 2010 at Nova Southeastern University with pro bono honors, and she is a 2007 graduate of the University of Georgia (UGA), where she was awarded the Hope Scholarship. Also at UGA, Ms. Arabnia served as an officer with Phi Alpha Delta and helped to establish the Persian Student Union. At Nova Southeastern University, Ms. Arabnia was the treasurer of the Student Bar Association, and she was among only five recipients of the school’s 2008-2009 President’s Award.


Ms. Arabnia’s commitment to community service is impressive. She’s participated in the Big Brother/Big Sister Program; has been involved in the Adopt-A-Highway program; has recorded books for the dyslexic and the blind; and has helped at a Salvation Army soup kitchen. In law school, Ms. Arabnia interned with several prestigious law firms and gained experience in immigration, business, and international law. She additionally gained experience in criminal law by interning with the Athens Justice Project. Her bar admissions include the Florida, Georgia, and New Jersey Bar Associations, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia. Ms. Arabnia is fluent in Farsi, and prior to joining Kurzban, Kurzban, Weinger, Tetzeli & Pratt, she served as a law clerk in the U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey, for the Honorable William J. Martini.
